for once remaining in business
and with a fresh new facade
on a lazy evening in April
beneath a slowly drifting sky
tonight no one needs furniture
so many lifetimes of urgency
can fall away into the past
and now all can be well
if only for an evening
maybe a weekend
a welcome rest
