hidden by housing
of a more modern sort
the old station, unobtrusive,
a reminder in its very placement
of the presence and orientation
of the railway it once served

nowadays that railbed
goes nearly as unnoticed
as the trains that traveled on it
today traffic twists and turns
driven by individual cars
no longer entrained
